Our Dermatology residency program prides itself for its esteemed faculty as many of them have local, regional, national, and international accolades and have extensive experience in education and leadership. Our goal is to train highly skilled, knowledgeable, and competent dermatologists who will contribute to our field upon graduation.

The primary clinical training site is located in the Dallas Southwestern Medical District although there are affiliations with other medical centers including Baylor Scott and White and Cook Children’s Medical Center. The residents’ continuity clinic is located at Bare Dermatology in the same building that houses Cockerell Dermatopathology.
In addition to our educational curriculum, residents have the opportunity to network with residents from other programs in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Our program is also affiliated with the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center which includes collaboration with the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM), the highest-ranked osteopathic medical school in Texas and the highest-ranked osteopathic school nationwide for primary care. This affiliation provides our residents with opportunities for developing as educators through working with students in clinical and academic settings.
