Dr. William Abramovits was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Dr. Abramovits practiced dermatology for 10 years in Caracas and returned to practice initially in South Texas, and since 1989, in Dallas, affiliated to the now Baylor Scott and White University Hospital in Dallas. During his career he has published approximately two hundred articles in medical journals and wrote or edited several textbooks of dermatology. He is also an educator of medical students, residents of family practice, internal medicine, and dermatology at several university post-graduate programs.
