ONMM Residency

Welcome!

Dear Prospective ONMM Residents,

Welcome to Lake Granbury Medical Center’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) website. I appreciate your interest in our program and am delighted to have this opportunity to introduce you to and showcase the exceptional learning and professional growth opportunities offered.

We are proud of the Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency Program, designed specifically for physicians seeking to expand their osteopathic medical knowledge, refine their clinical skills and advance their careers. We understand the importance of a comprehensive, innovative, and flexible educational experience.

The program is custom-made to meet these needs through:

  • Online learning
  • Clinical rotations
  • Mentorship

Housed at Lake Granbury Medical Center, a community hospital with a large supporting physician group, we provide a wide range of medical services in Hood County, about 40 miles southwest of Fort Worth. Many of our rotations will be with physicians at the hospital or in community practice, and the hospital hosts our OMM inpatient consultation service.

The ONMM Continuity Clinic is held on the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) campus. Twelve dual or triple-boarded ONMM physicians staff this clinic and provide osteopathic health care to patients of all ages and complaints.

Our physicians are locally and nationally recognized experts in their field, with clinical areas of focus including:

  • Infants with feeding difficulty, torticollis, or plagiocephaly
  • Post-concussion syndrome
  • Headaches, back pain, and musculoskeletal pain
  • Pre/Post-pregnancy care
  • Hospital aftercare
  • Spinal cord or brain injury patients
  • Spasticity (Botox clinic)
  • Performing Arts Medicine
  • Sports Medicine

More information on our clinic and faculty can be found at here.

Our affiliation with UNTHSC also includes collaboration with the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM), the highest-ranked medical school in Texas and the Number 1 osteopathic school nationwide for primary care. This affiliation provides our residents with opportunities for developing as educators through working with TCOM students in clinical and academic settings.

Compassionate patient care, innovation, and excellence are at the heart of everything we do. At Lake Granbury Medical Center, we foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where learning and personal growth flourish.

Thank you for considering Lake Granbury Medical Center’s ONMM GME Program as you pursue your professional objectives. We are excited about the possibility of welcoming you to our distinguished community of osteopathic physicians dedicated to making a difference.

Warm regards,
