Ramey Alfarra, D.O.

Ramey spent the majority of his childhood and young adult life growing up in South Florida. He attended Nova Southeastern University where he majored in biology (pre-med track) and minored in entrepreneurship. During his undergraduate years, he developed a love for research that he further explored by working at the NIH. While he loved working as a researcher, he felt that he was missing out on the satisfaction of clinical medicine and subsequently applied to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Alfarra’s passion for the philosophy, principles and practices of osteopathic medicine, as well as medical education itself, flourished during his time as a medical student. He decided to focus his attention on becoming an ONMM physician as he considers the profession to be a perfect blend of his three biggest passions: OMM, research and medical education. He currently lives in Granbury, Texas and is one of the two inaugural ONMM residents at Lake Granbury Medical Center.

During his time off, Ramey enjoys drawing, painting, and 3-D computer modeling and motorcycling.
